• Travels around the world by Luca Buffoni

By the grace of God I am a Christian man,
by my actions a great sinner,
and by calling a homeless wanderer of the humblest birth who roams from place to place.
My worldly goods are a knapsack with some dried bread in it on my back,
and in my breast pocket a Bible.
And that is all.
(The way of the pilgrim)

Like for others, also for me everything started with the Santiago Way. 2013. A particularly difficult moment of my life. Two months holidays. Why not do all the Santiago Way alone? I started walking on the 8th July at Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and I can say I did not stop anymore.

Obviously I stopped by at Santiago de Compostela, more than once, then the walk took me somewhere else. I found myself, almost by mere chance, walking in Northen Europe: Sweden, Norway, Greenland, Iceland…

This BLOG comes from the requests of many and from the wish to share the experience gained in these years. I hope it can be useful for someone.

My name is Luca. I live in Milan, I am a priest.
